🎒 Getting Ready to Give: Behind the Scenes of Our Backpack Giveaway

At Denard’s Heart Inc., back-to-school season means more than just pencils and notebooks, it’s about preparing young hearts and minds for a successful, confident start to the school year. And right now, we’re deep in prep mode for one of our favorite annual events: the Backpack Giveaway.

This year, our focus is on children in group homes, making sure they know they are not forgotten. While many kids are out shopping for school supplies with their families, there are so many others without that kind of support and we’re here to help fill that gap with love, dignity, and encouragement.

✨ What We’re Doing

We’re currently collecting:

• Backpacks

• School supplies (notebooks, pens, crayons, folders, etc.)

• Positive notes of encouragement to tuck inside each bag

We’ve created Walmart and Target registries to make donating easy and accessible, and we’re also preparing a fun, engaging giveaway event where kids can pick up their supplies and enjoy a little fun before the school year kicks off.

🎟️ Raffle for a Good Cause

To make the event even more exciting, we’re hosting a raffle with fun prizes donated by local businesses! Every ticket purchased helps us reach more children with the supplies they need.
