At Denard’s Heart Inc., our mission is to bridge the gaps for some of the most vulnerable members of our society. We are committed to supporting foster youth aging out of the system, teen parents, the elderly, and individuals experiencing homelessness—groups that often face significant hardships with little support.
Why These Populations?
1. Foster Youth Aging Out of the System
Each year, thousands of young people leave the foster care system without stable housing, financial support, or guidance. Many struggle with homelessness, job insecurity, and lack of essential life skills. Our programs aim to provide them with a foundation for independence and opportunities for personal growth.
2. Teen Parents
Raising a child as a teenager comes with overwhelming challenges—many young parents lack financial stability, family support, or access to childcare. We strive to empower teen parents by connecting them with resources, parenting education, and community support to ensure they and their children have a bright future.
3. Elderly Adults
Many seniors experience social isolation, financial struggles, and difficulty accessing proper care. Through initiatives like our Senior Check-In Program, we offer companionship, emotional support, and assistance in navigating resources to improve their quality of life.
4. Individuals Experiencing Homelessness
Homelessness is a complex issue rooted in economic hardship, lack of affordable housing, and systemic barriers. At Denard’s Heart Inc., we work to provide practical solutions and basic necessities.
